Veridis Energy, Northern Irelands Premiere Energy from Waste Facility

Veridis Energy is a waste specialist consortium led by Mr Jim Lynas (Irish Recycling Services) and Mr Harry McCourt (EMS Ltd). It is our plan to build and manage Northern Ireland's first major state of the art renewable energy plant on the outskirts of Belfast.

It is our mission to help the people of Northern Ireland find a sustainable solution to dealing with our waste disposal problems, whilst providing a sustainable renewable energy source well into the future.

Veridis Energy offers the solution to the harmful practice of land filling of waste and burning of fossil fuels, whilst ensuring that recycling targets continue to rise.

Our proposed facility is designed to treat commercial, industrial and municipal waste which can not be recycled or composted, by turning the waste into a renewable energy and heat source.
